The universal dual-pin electric cooling fan is equipped with a thermostat switch that activates it. The temperature sensor is a standard NPT-sized solid brass thread-in probe. It is preset to power the fan or a 12V accessory at the selected temperature. This temperature sensor can be threaded into a block port, radiator, engine cooler, or tapped hose line, allowing it to measure the temperature of any liquid, including oil, water, and coolant fluid.
The electric radiator cooling fan thermostat sensor temperature switch activates the fan at the predetermined turn-on temperature, and can either power or ground the fan. The length from the top of the brass probe threads to the tip is 0.5 inches. The sensor can be threaded into a block port, radiator, engine cooler, or tapped hose line, enabling it to measure the temperatures of all liquids, such as water, coolant, and oil.
