The Power Probe 3 Master Combo Kit includes:

Power Probe 3 PP3CSDRED: An advanced automotive multimeter used to perform checks on electrical circuits, detect polarity, supply battery or Earth voltage to activate components, check continuity, and check for bad ground connections.

Power Probe PPDMM: A professional automotive digital multimeter with CAT IV 600V, 6000 counts, Voltage AC/DC 600V, and Current AC/DC 10A capabilities.

The Power Probe 3 offers the following functionality: 1. When in Power Probe Mode, touching the probe tip to a negative circuit will light the green "-" LED and produce a low-pitched tone. 2. When in Power Probe Mode, touching the probe tip to a positive circuit will light the red "+" LED and display the voltage reading on the LCD. 3. Connect the PP3 to a good battery, clip the ground to the trailer ground, and probe the contacts at the jack to check the function and orientation of the connector and trailer lights. 4. If the circuit breaker trips, it is likely a ground issue. Reset the breaker by letting it cool for 15 seconds and pressing the reset button until it clicks into place.

The Power Probe PPDMM Digital Multimeter features a backlit display, a robust housing with a probe holder, and includes a magnetic strip for metal holding and 1.5-meter-long test leads.
